GROVELAND

The quaint and historic community of Groveland offers many dining and shopping opportunities as well as a park and museum.  Looking for an elegant meal in a historic setting - try the Groveland Hotel or Hotel Charlotte; and be sure to ask the owners about their resident ghosts!  Looking for something a little more adventurous?  Try The Iron Door Saloon for a great "Old West" saloon experience; they offer a soda fountain, deli, and traditional dining.

Groveland also offers terrific Mexican food at Cocina Michoacana, cafe dining at P.J.s Cafe and Pizzeria , pizza and calzones at Two Guys Pizza Pies, and tea at Dori's Tea Cottage.  For aesthetics, our coffee shop cant be beat!  Mountain Sage combines a coffee shop, nursery, art gallery, and gift shop.  For more information on dining alternatives available in the area, check out Dining in Pine Mountain Lake and Groveland.

The Pine Mountain Lake area of Groveland is a popular destination for vacationers. Activities available include golf, tennis, swimming, boating, sailing, skiing, kayaking, rafting, fishing, horse-riding, flying, picnicking, camping, and hiking.

We are a unique private community close to Yosemite National Park, nestled into the natural landscape of the pines, oaks, cedars, and the mountains of Tuolumne County.

While Pine Mountain Lake is home to many full-time and part-time residents, vacation rentals are available to the public through local property management offices.  Most of our residents are transplants from the Bay Area or San Joaquin Valley; some come from Southern California.  

Groveland condos and Groveland townhouses (townhomes) are available in price ranges ranging from $100K to $250K.  There are rustic Groveland cabins available for $150K to $250K.  Newer Groveland cabin style homes or Groveland contemporary homes are available for $250K to $550K. Groveland Homes which feature airport taxiway or lakefront locations range from $500K to 1.5 Million.

Groveland Lots and Pine Mountain Lake Lots range from $20K to 500K, with location and ease of building on being the primary value considerations. Most Pine Mountain Lake average around 1/3 acre in size, some are up to 2 acres.  True lakefront lots are rare and are usually priced over $400K.  Larger lots and land are also available outside of Pine Mountain Lake in the surrounding areas - including Groveland, Big Oak Flat, Greely Hill, and Coulterville.
